THE PROMISE features six original songs lovingly crafted at Blue Rodeo’s recording studio The Woodshed. It is the sound of three experienced songwriters exploring their collective voice as a band. With a blend of jazz, folk and pop, The Lesters draw their inspiration from songwriters and performers ranging from Paul Simon and Tom Waits to Radiohead, Norah Jones and Ray LaMontagne, with a sonic foundation of piano, acoustic guitar and double bass underpinning their soulful music.
